Lead Research on the Future of International Talent in Taiwan

Cake, an international talent career platform, is recruiting two Master’s or PhD-level researchers to join a key research project commissioned by the Taiwan central government.

The findings of this project will directly inform future policies related to attracting and retaining international talent in Taiwan, offering selected researchers a valuable opportunity to participate in a national-level policy study.

Research Focus

Talent Insights
• What factors influence foreign professionals’ decisions to develop their careers in Taiwan?

Market Trends
• What are the current recruitment trends and talent needs of Taiwanese companies regarding international professionals?

Scope of Work

Research Design
• Define research methodologies (qualitative interviews and quantitative analysis)
• Design survey frameworks

Project Execution
• Identify target research pools
• Plan and manage data collection channels

Data Analysis & Reporting
• Analyze collected data
• Produce a comprehensive insights report
• Bilingual reporting ability (English/Chinese) is a plus

Project Package

• Compensation: NTD 30,000–50,000 (project-based; negotiable based on experience and level of involvement)
• Project Period: January 1, 2026 – February 28, 2026
• Duration: Intensive 2-month project

Hiring Process

• Onboarding: January 12–16, 2026 (contract signing and project kick-off)

Eligibility

• Current Master’s or PhD students, or graduates from related fields (all nationalities welcome)
• Strong background in market research, data analysis, or social sciences
• Ability to work independently and meet tight project deadlines
