Application |
NCU accepts students nominated by the International Offices of its partner universities. For the eligibility of application, please contact the International Offices of your home university regarding the partnership with NCU.
Procedure of Application |
- Apply for the Dual Degree Student Program from Home University
- Nominated by the International Office of Home University
- Documents Sent to Host University
- Host University Examines the Application
- Result Informed by Host University
- Applicants Receive "Letter of Acceptance" or "Letter of Rejection"
Required Documents |
- Application form
- Dormitory application form (optional)
- One or two letter of recommendation
- Historical transcripts (Current Study) approved by the Home University
- One photocopy of passport
- One photocopy of the diploma and transcript of the highest degree.
- Other related documents according to the dual degree agreements
- Head photo with JPG file (passport standard)

Fall Semester (First Semester): May 15
Spring Semester (Second Semester): November 15
Duration of the Semester |
Fall Semester: August~January (Class starts in mid September, ends in mid January)
Spring Semester: February~July (Class starts in mid February, ends in late June)

Registration |
All incoming dual degree students have to follow the steps to register; otherwise, they won't be able to get student ID card.
1. Office of International Affairs
- Get information bag
- Confirm personal information
2. Related Department
- Query and Confirm the matter of courses and advisor.
3. Banking
- Pay for dormitory, student insurance fee, facilities fee, miscellaneous
4. Registration Online
- http://admissions.oia.ncu.edu.tw
5. Office of International Affairs
- Hand in payment receipt
- Examine online registration
6. Registry Office (at Administrative Building 3F)
- Pick up student ID card
Process of Check-Out Dormitory |
Notice: this is "must-do" for dorm dwellers, you will get at most NTD1,000 deposit back after this application.
- For withdrawing dormitory, please remember to:
- Apply one month before your departure.
- Make sure you have cleaned up your room before you withdraw from the dormitory.
- Fill in the application form (available at Dormitory Service Center or IAO )
- Submit the application form together with one photocopy of your passport to the Dormitory Service Center.
- Wait for 14 days, and then you will
- get a check
- be able to cash it at the First Bank on the campus with your passport, student ID card and ARC (if you have it). (The Bank opens on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 9:45~11:45 in the administrative building 1F)
