The Office of International Affairs (OIA) was originally part of the Division of International Affairs under the Office of Research and Development. It was officially upgraded to a first-level administrative unit on August 1, 2009.

Currently, the OIA comprises three divisions: the Division of International Cooperation and Student Recruitment, the Division of International Administrative Affairs, and the Division of Global Education and Mobility. The office is dedicated to providing services for international students, promoting international collaboration and exchange, and actively expanding the global outlook of NCU students.

Goals:

    • Promote an International-Friendly Campus Environment: Foster a multilingual, multicultural, open, and inclusive campus that welcomes individuals from diverse backgrounds.
    • Establish a Comprehensive Support System for International Students: Provide efficient and friendly services to ensure that faculty and students from around the world can study and live with ease. This, in turn, enhances cultural understanding and international exchange, reflecting the university's commitment to globally minded education.
    • Strengthen International Academic Collaboration: Expand global talent recruitment, increase international engagement opportunities for faculty and students, broaden students’ global perspectives, and enhance the university’s global connectivity and international visibility.

Core Responsibilities:

    • Promote international academic exchange and collaboration
    • Recruit and support international degree students and exchange students
    • Organize and host visits from international guests and delegations
    • Participate in international education fairs and exhibitions
    • Coordinate international academic conferences and related activities
