NCU Scholarship/Subsidy Application June 15th - July15th 2016

NCU Scholarship for Current Students

Eligibility

1.       Foreign applicants must be full-time students who registered in the University according to “NCU Procedures Governing International Student Admissions.”

2.       Applicants should not be recipients of any other in-campus scholarships.

3.       Current students:

l   Undergraduate students: the minimum average score of last two semesters while studying in NCU must be higher than or equal to 60.

l   Graduate students: the minimum average score of last two semesters while studying in NCU must be higher than or equal to 70.

l   Applicants must pass at least one Chinese course provided by NCU Language Center

Application Period

June 15th – July 15th 2016

Required documents

(1) Application form

(2) NCU official transcript with class ranking (obtained from the Registry Office).

(3) Appraisal Form of Academic Performance completed by applicant’s advisor

(4) Other supporting document (e.g. the transcript of qualifying examination, published thesis…etc.)

Maximum duration of scholarship

Students admitted in (after) academic year 2013:

The maximum duration for the recipients whose budget is from Office of International Affairs is four years for PHD students and two years for Master students. 

 

Students admitted before (in) academic year 2012

  1. Undergraduate students: 4 years.
  2. Master degree students: 2 years
  3. PhD degree students: 3 years

*The scholarship is subject to change due to the annual budget.

 

Subsidy

Eligibility

l  Enrolled foreign students at NCU entering in (before) Academic Year 2012

l  Applicants must meet the following requirements and be recommended by their department.

-Undergraduate students have to maintain a 60 percent grade point average for each semester

-Postgraduate students have to maintain a 70 percent grade point average for each semester.
